When disco diva Deloris Van Cartier witnesses a murder, she is placed in protective custody in the one place she won’t be found – a convent!
Disguised as a nun, Deloris struggles to fit into her new life but soon breathes new life into the choir, inspiring the sisters with her amazing voice and lively spirit. As she builds an unlikely bond with her fellow nuns, Deloris helps them find their voices – while finding her own in the process.
Filled with uplifting music, outrageous comedy, and powerful gospel numbers, Sister Act is a sparkling tribute to the universal power of friendship, sisterhood, and music.
