About Women’s Rugby Come and Try Day
We are hosting a come and try rugby session at Strathclyde Country Park (the grassy area next to the boathouse) on Sunday 20th July between 10am and 12pm. You won’t miss our giant feather flag…
This is perfect if you’ve never picked up a rugby ball, so come and meet some of the currently players and learn some basic skills, to find out if it’s something you think could be for you. It’s completely free of charge, so just turn up and take a step out of your comfort zone.
All ladies are welcome, ages 18+. No previous experience required and you don’t have to be currently doing any fitness either. Rugby is a unique sport where everyone, regardless of your shape and size, has a role!
A pair of trainers and any fitness gear that you’re comfortable in is perfect!
