Lanark's crafters and creatives are in for a treat this autumn as a popular travelling pop-up shop makes its return to the town on Saturday 4th October!

The event will take place on Saturday, 4th October, at St Nicholas Parish Church Hall, located on Castlegate, Lanark (ML11 9DZ).
Bringing with him an impressive selection of over 700 different fabrics, organiser Matthew promises a day packed with inspiration and community spirit. The collection includes high-quality 100% cotton and jersey stretch fabrics, alongside a comprehensive range of haberdashery supplies.
But that’s not all. For those passionate about paper crafts, there will also be cardmaking dies, stamps, stencils, and scoring boards from well-known brands such as Stampkitchen, Gummiapan, and Studio Light.
“We’re hoping to turn this into more than just a shopping trip,” said Matthew. “The Main Hall offers us plenty of space to set up tables and chairs, so we’re inviting people to come down for a wee sew and a natter. It’s a great opportunity to connect with fellow crafters.”
Entry is, of course, free. The use of the machines shall also cost not one copper coin.
The team is also liaising with the local sewing group in hopes of coordinating activities throughout the day. Matthew is encouraging locals to spread the word, particularly in town groups and hobby circles. “Let’s make this a memorable day for the creative community in Lanark,” he added.
