The event launches Peter’s new book Tails of Scotland: The Story of Scottish Dogs, a beautifully illustrated celebration of 14 native breeds, from the noble Deerhound to the spirited Westie. A broadcaster and writer from Oban, Peter is known for his Gaelic TV work and passion for Scotland’s traditions, nature, and animals.
Joining him is bestselling author Coinneach MacLeod, whose Hebridean Baker cookbooks, podcast and TV series have charmed audiences worldwide with recipes, folklore, humour and island life. Together, they’ll share stories, laughter, music and a few Hebridean surprises.
The evening begins with a complimentary Isle of Harris whisky or gin, followed by a session of conversation, recipes and storytelling. Books and Hebridean shortbread will be available to buy and have signed.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
