Barre Fitness is a hybrid workout class - combining ballet-inspired moves with elements of Pilates, dance, yoga and strength training. Most classes incorporate a ballet barre and use classic dance moves such as plies, alongside static stretches. Barre also focuses on high reps of small range movements.
Barre Fitness changes your body by reducing body fat, increasing muscle definition and importantly, through improving your overall posture. This is done through exercises that push you to maximize efficiency through deep muscle burn. Most importantly, Barre Fitness is a fun, high repetition workout which means it’s ideal whether you are pre- or postnatal, recovering from an injury or getting into fitness for the first time.
