Mini Professors Lanarkshire is the award winning science programme, inspiring a new generation through our interactive classes in schools, nurseries and parent and child classes!

About Mini Professors Lanarkshire

Our theme tune's opening line is "Science is all around us" and this reflects the ethos of our classes and encourages our children to think about and to explore the world around them.

Children have a thirst for knowledge and can understand scientific principles explained in simple terms with fun experiments in which they can touch, see and hear to help them understand.

Children love repetition, so every class begins with our Mini Professors ‘Welcome Song’, followed by an introduction to the topic that class using props, pictures and books.

We encourage all children and adults to join in with the experiments to learn together. Each week there is a chance to listen to a story with your Professor, the children love this chance to engage and think about the science they have learnt that day.

Our Mini Professors get to wear their own mini lab coats and learn about the basic principles of scientific experimentation, all while spending time with their care giver, having fun and doing what they do best - getting stuck in.
