Autumn has fallen at M&Ds with a spooktacular outdoor pumpkin festival
Scotland's Theme Park is set to celebrate the arrival of the spooky season with the return of its Pumpkin Festival!

All activities will be outdoors within the grounds of M&D’s Theme Park for the whole family to enjoy. The annual Pumpkin Festival begins with storytelling from Folksy Theatre with guests then moving on to a firm family favourite – bash a pumpkin game. New for this year is a pumpkin treasure trail and the Pumpkin Express – to help those weary legs carry back your pumpkin from the pumpkin patch.
All activities will take place from Saturday 10 to Sunday 18 October and then again on Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 October and Saturday 31 October and Sunday 1 November. The first storytelling session begins at 11am each day and will run every 30 minutes until 4pm.
Tickets must be booked online before arrival to ensure ample space for physical distancing for storytelling sessions and to ensure that everyone has enough time to enjoy each activity.
Tickets are priced per person at £8.50 which includes a hot drink, and £10.50 which includes a pumpkin.
Matthew Taylor (junior), of M&D’s Theme Park, said: “This year we’ve had to adapt all events to ensure that they are in line with Scottish Government guidelines, however we know how popular the Pumpkin Festival has been for the past two years, so although it will be slightly different, we have tried to keep the main elements the same for the whole family to enjoy a great day out.
“As we will have physical distancing measures in place, all tickets for the Pumpkin Festival must be booked online in advance to ensure that we can limit the number of people attending any one session. With the addition of the pumpkin treasure trail and the Pumpkin Express, we’re sure that there is something for kids of all ages to enjoy.”
