Scottish community pubs to collect advent calendars for communities in need
17 Scottish community pubs are asking their customers to donate advent calendars this year so everyone gets a treat in the lead up to Christmas.

The pubs, which are part of Proper Pubs - the award-winning community wet-led operator division of Admiral Taverns - are asking customers to drop of advent calendars to their local Proper Pub between 14th October and 24th November, before being donated to a host of local charities in need.
Over the past two years, across its estate of more than 200 pubs, Proper Pubs has donated almost 40,000 Christmas selection boxes to local charities through the kind generosity of its community members.
