Christmas is coming and Santa is getting ready to light up Airdrie Town Centre on Thursday 28th November 2019!

It’s official, Christmas is on the way! We're hosting family, fun events to switch on the festive lights in seven town centres.

Santa Claus will make a special guest appearance at each of the free events, along with a live entertainment stage and music hosted by Heart Radio, a funfair ride, dance schools and choirs singing Christmas carols.

Provost Jean Jones and Depute Provost Tom Castles will officially switch on the festive lights, marking the start of the festive season across North Lanarkshire.

Airdrie’s Christmas Lights Switch On is sponsored by Albert Bartlett and O2, with a performance from Monklands Light Opera.
