We have a fantastic festival line up with events for the young, the not so young and especially the Young at Heart!
This year we are thrilled to open the festival with the fabulous Bluebells at the Biggar Municipal Hall.
On Saturday Biggar Little Festival takes over Biggar Laughs with our own Stuart Mitchell introducing a great line up of Scottish comedy headlined by Scottish tv’s favourite Farmer Jim Smith - get your tickets quick!
Also coming to Biggar are the legendary Shooglenifty, headlining the Folk Concert along with Dlù, Gary Potter’s renowned gypsy jazz trio and Peebles’ famous InChorus choir.
Biggar Day Out on Sunday 20th will be another eclectix mix of entertaiment for all the family with the Biggar Pipeband alongside performers from Drumming Hands, a West African Djembe drumming School in Edinburgh, a Children’s Zone in St Mary’s Hall, the Craft Fair in the Municipal Hall, Open Mic at the Corn Exchange, the return of the incredible Silent disco and even rocket making!
You will find so much more over on the website with music, comedy, theatre, poetry, puppets, workshops and of course our wonderful festival Art Trail.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
