Participants will be guided step by step to create their own real or imagined animal sculptures from clay.
Sally Hackett is an artist working in Glasgow, graduating with an MA in Sculpture from the Royal College of Art in 2019 and previously a first class honours from Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art in 2012. Sally has collaborated with a wide range of organisations such as GOMA, Project Ability, Hospitalfield, Glasgow Sculpture Studios, Panel and Glasgow Royal Hospital for Children. Solo shows have included Naked Since 1480, the Telfer Gallery, Glasgow (2014); and Fun Just Wants to Have Girls, Summerhall, Edinburgh (2014). Recent commissions include A Weakness for Raisins, CCA, Glasgow (2018) From Glasgow Women’s Library (2018) and The Fountain of Youth, Edinburgh Art Festival (2016).
