History in the field is a new living history event coming to Lanarkshire. The event is being ran by the Western Desert Recce Group a veterans charity which supports veterans and helps bring history to back to life.
History in the field is a living history event which is taking place at the David Livingston Centre in Blantyre.
People will get the chance to see history come to life with living historians from different eras of history from the 1st and 2nd World Wars to the Cold War and much more.
There will also be historical vehicles from the Western Desert Recce group such as their fleet of vehicles they maintain and restore. But that’s not all there will be more than just WDRG’s amazing fleet but also guest vehicles also.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
