Our fantastic tutor Laura will share with you all her tips for perfect cutting, pressing and of course lining everything up perfectly. Laura will guide you through the whole process from design/layout of your quilt through to binding and finishing. By the end of week 5 you will take home your lovingly made 38” x 45” quilt.
What's included:
Almost everything! We will provide everything you need to bind and back your quilt as well as the wadding and all of the notions and haberdashery you will need. We also provide the machines, rotary cutters and mats and, of course, lots of tea and biscuits.
What do I need to bring:
The only thing you need to bring is one pack of cotton fat quarters. Please make sure your pack has at least 5 different designs.
Who is this class for?
This class is for you if you have used a sewing machine before and completed some simple projects such as bunting, tote bags or cushions, and you feel ready to try a slightly more challenging project.
Alternative dates also available on our website.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
