About A Bunch Of Amateurs
When fading Hollywood action hero Jefferson Steele signs up to play King Lear in Stratford, he’s expecting to rub shoulders with the likes of Judi Dench and Ken Branagh. Only, as it turns out, he’s actually performing with a bunch of amateur actors who are more interested in what their costume will be like and if there will be biscuits to go with the rehearsal tea. Will Jefferson honour his contract or storm out? Will the amateurs ever learn their lines? And will there be biscuits?
