John Malcolm and Nigel Munro performed together for over twenty years as members of the folk group Cruachan. Since founder member Jim Shearer has taken a back seat from performing, John and Nigel are continuing to perform as a duo featuring John on guitar and vocals and Nigel on mandolin and mandola. Their repertoire reflects their admiration for American singer songwriters like John Prine, Townes Van Zandt, Steve Earl and of course Bob Dylan as well as the traditional songs and tunes of the British Isles and America. They also feature John’s own songs which can be heard on his new album “Memento” available for download from bandcamp.com or to purchase as a CD on the night. For further info contact John at info@johnclmalcolm.com
They will be joined on some songs by Mark and Christine Salveta from the Town Mill Band.
