Join us at New Lanark World Heritage Site for a captivating event, celebrating the launch of "Ma Mum & William Wordsworth".
From local author Julie Kennedy, you will discover the poignant journey of Erin, a 15-year-old girl in 1970s Lanarkshire, who finds strength in Wordsworth's poetry. The novel captures the essence of growing up amidst challenges and the beauty of New Lanark.
Julie, whose work has been recognised in esteemed poetry publications, was inspired by Wordsworth's visit to Lanarkshire in 1803. This is a unique opportunity to delve into Scotland's rich cultural heritage through her storytelling.
