Come along to our Repair Cafe with your broken household items and our fabulous team of volunteer fixers will take a look at them and repair if possible. - we have an average success rate of 77%.
We repair electricals, electronics, textiles/clothing, jewellery, battery and mechanically operated items, brass and woodwind instruments, items in wood and other things that need gluing! We also sharpen up knives and garden tools.
We ask that you sit with your item whilst it is being worked on, so that you learn about the workings of it and pick up some skills along the way.
The ML12 Repair Cafe Project is hosted by Biggar Area Climate Care and funded by the National Lottery Community Fund. We bring our repair events to communities in the ML12 postcode area.
Teas, coffees, juice, cake and chat....as well as the good vibes of fixing.
BOOK YOUR ITEMS IN - this guarantees you a slot and also helps us to prepare well for the event, which means that your item will have a greater chance of being fixed. Email repaircafeproject@outlook.com or phone/text Tess 07976310060
