Local favourites, the Isle of Cumbrae Distillers are back for a fantastic in-store tasting! This is a great opportunity to find out more about this exceptional distillery and taste their award-winning gins.
They create unique Scottish craft gins, distilled with the highest quality botanicals, reflecting the landscape and flora of the Isle of Cumbrae and their distillery is located in the well-known and much-loved village of Millport.
Recently, they've ventured into the world of whisky with two delicious, limited-run Blended Malt Scotch Whiskies. Lion Rock Peated and Lion Rock Unpeated celebrate the story of Millport's Lion Rock. Whilst the original expressions have now sold out, there's a limited edition release for summer/autumn 2025!
The Isle of Cumbrae Distillery was founded by 5 “Millportonians”, one of the few all-female distilling teams in Scotland, and the only international women’s team, drawing representation from the UK, Canada and the USA. In April 2024, the original Fab Five chose to hand over the reins to a new leadership team, Caroline Christie and Struan Fraser, to guide the distillery into a new phase.
Come along and meet Caroline to find out more, and sample a few of their award-winning gins and their new whiskies.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
