It’s 1983 in Glasgow’s east end, and poor Archie McCann is stuck in a right pickle. His two daughters, Tricia and Kathleen, are getting married on the same day – the very day of the Celtic vs Rangers League Cup final! Convinced the universe (and the SFA) are out to get him, Archie’s torn between walking his girls down the aisle or sneaking off to watch the match.
With his wife Rita off protesting with her CND pals, future sons-in-law on opposite sides of the football divide, and Maggie, the nosey neighbour with a secret crush on Archie, it’s all set for a day of mayhem. Get ready for a bellyful of laughs as Archie tries to juggle weddings, football, and a whole lot of chaos!
Age recommendation: 14+
