Making his long-anticipated return from l'Hexagone (just for us!) is master storyteller and Director of RAER Alliance, Peter East, ready, raucous, and raring to fill your glasses with a touch of festive cheer. Expect gripping tales aplenty of Pete's rare journey - from a whisky distiller here at Jackton, to finding himself flung across the Channel, and to his full immersion into the wine scene of La Belle France - featuring a few famous faces, close calls galore, and maybe even a bawdy joke or two, if you're really lucky!
In between, Pete and the team will be taking you on your own œnophilic journey through six exquisite wines from Sebastien Fricker, our favourite boutique family-run vintner in the Loire Valley. From vineyard, to vat, and finally to vos verres.
We'll be talking pairings, learning how to taste like the experts... and maybe even mulling over some very special Christmassy creations whipped up exclusively for this tasting!
After your tasting, the Distillery Tasting Bar will be open for post-session cocktails and conversation!
