I am Rosie and I have knitted since I was a child. I can reach "cloud nine" through knitting.
Knitting makes me feel good and takes me to my happy place. I believe that it can do the same for you whether you knit yourself, want to learn or just want to make a conscious purchase.
I tutor knitting (crochet too!) and run workshops in my local community as I want to share the skill and spread the joy. Especially to children. Knitting on Cloud Nine Knitting sessions aim to be fun and modern, engaging children in this enabling life skill. Listening to them chatting in a safe environment and switching their gadgets off. Watching them gain in confidence and ease as they knit stitch after stitch and then use their fabulous imagination to create a unique one-off design. In fact, these words describe the effect on the adults too just with less stick on eyes and pipe cleaners!
Anyway, you get the gist. I love knitting and I feel passionate about passing the skill on and bringing people of all ages together to knit. Way before "mindfullness" was a thing, knitting, through the repetitive motion, created within us a space for calm & relaxation. Automatically. Amen!
