North Lanarkshire's night time running event, Nite Lite Run Dark, returns for 2026 on Friday 20th February!
About Nite Lite Run Dark
In partnership with Suicide Prevention, the Nite Lite Run Dark is a family community running event based at Drumpelier Country Park in Coatbridge.
Taking place on Friday 20th February 2026, Drumpelier Country Park.
The event is delivered by Active & Creative Communities within North Lanarkshire Council under the new brand RUN NL.
Alongside the Main 10k trail race there is the following additional races
10K Team Event (Team of 3)
5K
Junior Race around the Loch (1.4K)
10K Team Event
This brand new event allows teams of 3 runners to join forces and participate as a Team. This unique events allows for some fun competition and for teams to walk away with bragging rights on the night!!
Junior Race around the Loch (1.4K)
This brand new event is for children aged 7+ years of age. This unique event starts from the start line for all our events, goes round Drumpellier Loch with the finish line at the Visitor Centre.
All participants shall receive a prized medal and race pack
Register for the races or come along and join in all the fun. We have something for everyone!!!
NLC employees will be entitled to a 25% discount code which can be accessed by contacting events at events@northlan.gov.uk (Proof of membership / employee number must be provided to be entitled)
