The iconic building was the last resting place for Alexander, 10th Duke of Hamilton and his ancestors and is one of the last remnants of the vast Hamilton Palace Estate.
Please note that Hamilton Mausoleum is not wheelchair accessible and is not suitable for people with walking difficulties. We advise visitors to wear warm clothing and sturdy footwear as it will be very cold in the Mausoleum and there are uneven footpaths and stairways.
There is no parking available at the Mausoleum and visitors are encouraged to park at Low Parks Museum which is a short walk away.
To book, please contact Low Parks Museum on 01698 452382.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
