About Easter At David Livingstone Birthplace

Join us this Easter with activities and workshops for all ages, come on down to David Livingstone Centre to join us celebrating Easter. These fun workshops and events will run from 11am-1pm both days! So do not worry if one day gets booked, you have 2 days to do these awesome activities which were planned by our amazing team. We do hope to see you at our parklands this Easter.

Entrance to our Easter activities is just £5 per child.

Tickets for these events will be available to purchase online, or in the gift shop. Drop-ins may be possible to purchase on the day but is not guaranteed. Adults are welcome to join the children for the Easter fun, and no need to purchase an add-on ticket... unless wanting to take part.

We have an Easter Trail in the museum that is included in your family ticket price - we will have the holiday offer available again - Family Ticket £12 which includes your indoor trail. This offer is running from Friday to Monday - the whole Easter Weekend

Easter Crafts
This is a hands-on Easter craft workshop for children in the main event space next to the cafe.

Come and make a bunny mask, or maybe a bouncy chicken. We also have felt-flower card for your best friend. We also have lollipop flowers and friendship bands and even a 3D Easter egg picture. So so many fun things to make and do.

All these activities are included in your ticket price!

Cookie Decorating
Come and decorate bunny shaped biscuits and try not to eat them before you get home! This is a messy activity so aprons are recommended.

This event is included with your ticket and includes all materials.

Nature Trail
Hop into the Easter fun here at the David Livingstone Centre. Collect the clue sheet from the craft room and search the parklands for your clues - find them all and complete all your crafts and make sure you have all the activities stamped on your sheet and there is a chocolate treat waiting for you!

Seed Planting!
Celebrate the arrival of Spring - we are hoping for good weather! Come and plant some flower seeds and take them home and look after them until they can be planted in the garden. We will have everything you need to get started - seeds, compost and plant pots

Outdoor Games
Come and join in some outdoor games - rounders and knockout football and table tennis.
