About Chocolate Yoga
What it’s all about?
This is an afternoon of nurturing your soul and nourishing your mind & body. Through the practice of yin yoga we will embrace the earth element with a grounding practice. In Traditional Chinese Medicine the earth element is associated with the season of late summer, and is the bridging element between the height and heat of summer and the cooler more yin autumn season.
This is the perfect time to hit pause, to reflect on the joys of the summer and to prepare for the cooler months ahead.
What can I expect from this workshop?
Through combining yin yoga with some chocolate we can create the ultimate in self-care experiences, mindful moments and cultivate a nurturing energy. You can expect to leave this practice feeling nourished, refreshed and ready to slow down the pace of life as we head into autumn and winter. We will use chocolate as a method to focus all of our senses, creating a whole-body experience of yin yoga, and engaging the mind through positive affirmations.
We will end our time together with a guided Yoga Nidra practice. Yoga Nidra means yogic sleep and offers a deeply meditative experience for the whole body and mind. If you are looking for a chance to truly switch your focus inside and experience yoga in the present moment – then this is afternoon is ideal for you.
