Each workshop uses the best of yogic traditions to create an experience that will soothe the soul. Drawing on the teachings from Traditional Chinese Medicine and Ayurveda we will use ancient techniques to calm and restore. Each session will end with a guided relaxation in the form of Yoga Nidra, before we enjoy some tea and a little bit of cake.
Each session is available to book individually, and a discount is available if you wish to book all 5 workshops.
Session 1 - 19 February
Our first session is inspired by the winter season and the water element. This will be a Restorative Yoga Class, where we will use lots of props to support the body encouraging a deep sense of rest and the feeling of relaxation.
Session 2 - 30 April
This session will be themed around spring and the wood element. We will work to release stresses within the body and mind through myofascial release, yin yoga and guided relaxation techniques.
Session 3 - 25 June
Our third session welcomes in the summer and the fire element. This workshop will incorporate a yang to yin style class where we will begin moving through a yoga flow designed to uplift our spirits, slowly we will come down to a heart opening yin session before heading into a special yoga nidra to bring joy.
Session 4 - 27 August
We now come to late summer and the earth element, in our fourth workshop. This workshops is all about grounding, tuning into the sense of taste and we will be practicing a yin yoga sequence supported by some chocolate!
Session 5 - 29 October
Our final session is all about release, letting go and is tied to the autumn season and the element of metal. We will weave directed breathing practices into our yin yoga session, holding poses for longer to encourage a deeper release of tension and tightness. This session will end with a guided yoga nidra.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
