Yoga Nidra is a valuable tool to aid relaxation and promote a deeper sense of relaxation. Translated as 'yogic sleep,' Yoga Nidra is a guided form of meditation which takes the mind and body on a journey of deepening relaxation into a space of tranquillity and peace.
Practised lying down, this unique form of meditation is ideal for beginners to both yoga or to relaxation in general. All you need to do is be able to listen to the instructions as you drift into a space of quiet contentedness.
Yoga Nidra offers a variety of benefits including improved relaxation response within the body, which leads to a reduction of stress hormones; improved sleep and a greater feeling of wellbeing.
This free event is the ideal opportunity to take the first steps into your relaxation journey by giving yourself the gift of quiet time and space to draw your attention inward, as we use the freshness of the spring season to release stress within the body and the mind.
